Safety and Security Liaison

Salary range: $40,000 to $44,000/year

This position will be responsible for upholding the Safety and Security policies and procedures for SICS’s MS and HS students, and for SICS’s Elementary School students when needed.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

• Hallway, bathroom, gymnasium and cafeteria sweeps daily to ensure that students are in their proper locations
•  Monitor the student parking lot and identify vehicles that are not registered with SICS Administration
•  Assist both MS and HS discipline team in the following fashion…
  • Searches
  • Escorting students to specific locations
  • Monitoring student behavior in hallways during transitions
  • Student lunchroom supervision
•  Identify problem areas within the school and report to the Director of Operations
• Communicate regularly with SICS’s Security Lead and the Director of Operations for daily schedule and tasks
•  Assist with parking for SICS events
• Performs other duties as assigned.

High School Diploma or GED

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:

• Meets expectations of regular, reliable attendance.
• Ability to follow written and oral instructions and to perform all required tasks
• Ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
