26/27 Hall Monitor (2 positions)

In this role you will provide extra adult support to students and collaborate with staff to create a positive learning environment.  You may be asked to provide notes or reports regarding interventions or incidents.

• To assist, support, and work closely with teachers, administrators, and other team members in conducting supervision of students during:
  • Passing periods
  • Arrival and dismissal
• Monitor traffic patterns in and out of the classrooms, restrooms, and hallways
• Logging students in and out of the restrooms for contact tracing
• Ensure the environment of the school is welcoming, clean, and safe for all students, staff, and visitors
• Perform all other related duties as required by supervisor

Qualifications

• High School Diploma/GED required

Preferred Qualifications:

* Bachelor’s Degree

* Excellent written and verbal communication

* Ability to work closely with children

* Excellent teamwork skills

* Ability to remain calm and patient at all times
